I specialize in supporting adult clients living with persistent concussion symptoms, an often invisible and misunderstood condition. Using a blend of EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, self-compassion practices, and practical tools like planning and pacing, I help clients manage symptoms, reduce overwhelm, and reconnect with a grounded sense of self.
In addition to concussion recovery, I also work extensively with individuals experiencing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and grief. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative, creating a space where you can feel understood, supported, and empowered in your healing process.

Candace brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to therapy, drawing on evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of British Columbia. With years of expertise in mental health and addictions, Candace creates a safe, judgment-free space for clients to navigate life’s challenges. Her focus areas include anxiety, depression, sexual wellness & dysfunction, perinatal mental health, grief & loss, trauma, and life transitions. Candace see’s teens and adults in her practice.
